When did you start making art? Tell us a little about your background.
The first drawing I can remember making, I can still picture in my mind. And ever since, I fill my life with art. I paint, collage, write, dance, play piano, and read.

What are the themes that you explore within your work?
For this show, I focused on collage, of which I make by starting with observations of the world, drawing on paper that I have painted myself, then cutting and pasting it into a composition based off of an idea that I have been contemplating. Many of my works share a theme of being alone in the environment of one's mind. However attractive and beautiful this imaginary space is, the figures are almost always alone and empty.
